What TV model is this HomeKit implementation for?

I saw this implementation on GitHub and decided to give it a try on our Philips 49PUS7909, which received a "Younger platform" by Philips and now runs Android 7.1.2 (Nougat, API level 25). I have a bit of android experience (I'm an iOS/macOS Developer) and I did get the service to run, but that's where it ended.

The app does not broadcast the HomeKit service onto the network and I can't seem to figure out how to get a log from the app.

So my question is, what model of the Philips TV did you make this service for? And how can I possibly find the actual problem that prevents HomeKit from working?
